Hey folks! Figured introductions are in order. First of all, welcome! Thanks for stopping by my little corner of the world. My name is Grace and I’m the one-woman show that runs this gig.

I’m a self taught silversmith and leatherworker, and I also have a penchant for peyote bead weaving. I grew up in a remote spot hidden in the Bridger mountain range of Montana, so much of my work is inspired by the colors and ruggedness there. I’ve recently moved to the mountains of North Carolina. It’s been a change, but it’s been a good one.

There’s something grounding about working with your hands- a mind + body connection that’s really important.

When I was first getting this started, after a year long hiatus from making jewelry, I was having a coffee in the kitchen with my Mom; brainstorming about some ideas I had. I was crying inwardly over trying to find a suitable brand name and ran a few of them by her but nothing seemed to fit. My Mom’s got a super creative side to her and by the time she’d disappeared into the laundry room, she’d come right back and said, “Bumblewood!”

It stuck.

I’ve come a long way from when I started (literally being the starving artist at one point) but things have turned up since then and you all are 100% to thank for it. Thanks for supporting me and my work- you let me continue doing what I love!
